7 things

7 Things I learned today on our Pueblo shopping trip.

1. Parking across two parking spaces is not legal.
2. Parking in the street is not safe.
3. Shutting off your vehicle before going inside is a wise idea.
4. Don't go to Bath and Body Works if you don't have spending money.
5. Inhaling ice is not good for your body.
6. Don't go to the orthodontist if you're in a hurry.
7. Don't go to the orthodontist if you're grouchy about being late.

No, no this is not because of experience.

Especially the driving and parking spot.

I WAS NOT driving.

.....

Ok maybe part of it was because of experience.

But still, I wasn't driving.

....

Fine! Yes, it was because of experience! And yes, I was driving! I take it all back!
I did succeed in parking twice...Out of three times. Not bad. One time it was in the street, but hey, I got it parked. It counts, right?

I hope so.

I am going to need some help before I have to take a parking test. Maybe I'll get some ol' guy who can't see. Maybe. Hopefully. Other wise, I'm doomed. Maybe the ol' guy won't even make me park. Maybe. Hopefully. Other wise, I'm doomed. Maybe it will count as 'Parked" if I take it out of drive, and put it in park. Maybe. Hopefully. Other wise, I'm...Oh I've all ready said that? Twice? Oh, alright. Well let me say it once more. Just to show ya'll how serious it is. Im doomed! Does anybody know anybody who gives parkin' lessons? Horizontal or vertical? I might need all three.

8. Shoppin' wears ya out.

Good nighty, sleep tighty!

My Life Will Never Be The Same!

My Life Will Never Be The Same.

Ever. My sister, the one you see below, has asked me to do something horrible. This is the sister who I have been close to forever! Even if she did have issues as a baby....

And as a teen age-r...

And throughout her young life...

The same sister I have been best friends with, sense childhood...

The sister who when she got married I cried my eyes out...

This sister, this very same sister...

Has asked me....

to leave the room.

Leave the room! Are ya kiddin' me?!

Why of all the nerve!

And to think I trusted her, all my 15 years!

And she asked me to leave to room???

I shall never be the same.

This Family

This family.

This family I love.

This family I adore.

This family is my sisters family.

But can they still be mine?

This family has three boys, as you can see.

Waitley, Trave, and Stockton,

And I love them very much.

This poem does not rhyme,

as you can read,

But I shall keep writing...just because.

Waitley is smart and dashing,

Can read like nobodys bees wax.

Red hair and white teeth,

Is what Waitley looks like.

Traven is a bulldog,

Well not literately,

But it is a self appointed nick name.

He is strong and bold,

And has a lovely lisp,

He would pronounce it 'whisp'.

(That rhymed)

Stockton is the age of one,

and is very ing-cunn.

Backwards that would spell cunning,

(But ing-cunn rhymed.)

He is fearless and a goer,

One day he will be a great...mower.

Their parents I love,

They are sent from above.

This only sometimes rhyming poem,

Was in honor of a family,

A family I love,

(Just in case I had forgot to mention that)

This family is the Sharon family.

Babysitter may I be?

Babysitter may I be?

Five children and Missy. Is it safe? Is it ethical? Ok, so i don't know what that word means. I know, my momma always said don't say words you don't mean but i don't think its bad. Is it?

I shall never do it again.

Cross my heart and hope to die.

Well not truly.

Truly I don't want to die.

Carrying on.

Five children under the age of six. Did I succeed? That I did! Pizza, movies, and bedtime. What more could a kid want? Or a parent for that matter. From now on, you may have the privilege of referring to me as 'Superbabystitter!' Pretty classy, eh? I thought so.

As of now, my hair is pulled out of its ponytail, the house is a wreck, and I need a siesta, so I best go. But will i succeed, that I will, because I am Superbabysitter.

(You may want my autograph.)

Black Friday Battle Wounds!

Black Friday Battle Wounds!

I have to say, black Friday is the biggest rush in November. Maybe Even October. And September. And August, July, June, May, April, February, and January. Not March or December. Another story for another blog. Carrying on.

Black Friday is insane. Period. The end. No question about it. But it is also so fun! Although, Gayla, Lindy, and Ashley didn't think so. I stayed in the safe zone (Refer to the next paragraph). They are brave hearts. Lindy did get her printer though. She fought, and she succeeded! And after her battle, there were twenty printers left over...It was worth it, just for the picture :)

The next paragraph. Do you notice anything about the picture?? Background perhaps? Ok good. You didn't notice. I wouldn't want ya'll thinkin' I was a wimp. While they were out battling, I was hiding. But where I was hiding you will never know.

Ok!

Fine I'll admit it!

I can't stand all this pressure!

I was hiding in the diaper isle!

I know, what a wimp am I.

I shall never do it again.

If I must hide, I shall hide with the food. Much less wimpy.

Durin' the time I wasn't hidin' I got some wonderful, excellent Christmas presents. Please spread the word, just so everybody doesn't think I was hidin' the whole time.

Hope ya'll have a jolly good nap!

Merrry Thanksgivin' and a Happy New Year!

Merry Thanksgiving, and a happy new year!

My Thanksgiving was filled with fun, food....and umm...food...what was I saying? Sorry. Carrying on. Food, family, and roping. I have to say, the food, family, and roping had to be the highlight of all of it. Forget the rest.

Although, if you watched me rope this morning, I will never blame you if you don't talk to me again. No hard feelings.

And if you watched me eat this morning, I won't blame you if you disown me either. I didn't live up to my standards. Shameful, I know it. Outa 365 days in a year, there are only two that you can eat as much as ya want. And I failed. I'm sorry! Oh so very sorry. If you never read my blog again, I understand. I do. Truly.

Missy (:

And if you never read my blog again, I want ya to know one thing. I love you! Thank you for all the years of help along the way. Ok maybe not years. Considering I just started blogging this week. But I still love ya'll! (There is my 'Drawllll'.) And if ya never speak to me again, like say, no hard feelings. Sure do love you, and appreciate you. Hope you talk to me again.

And because I said so much I better sign my name again.

Missy (:

Outa 365 days a year, 188 are my favorite. Tomorrow is one of this 188. Why? No. Not because its Thanksgiving. It would be counted as another day. Probably not one of the 188.

Ahhh why not. I've plenty of days to spare. Ok. Make it one of the 188. No. 189.

Carrying on. Tomorrow is one of those 188. Why? No. Not because its Thanksgiving. We've been over this? I apologize. Sometimes I get carried away.

So tomorrow would be one of my favorite days. And no. Not because there will be food.

Ok that's a lie.

A huge one!

Have a mentioned how much I love food? And out of 365 days Thanksgiving is one of the two that has alot of...food? Yes, food and family. And I love my family more'n my food. And I love my food.

Turkey, stuffing, bread. green bean casserole....My dreams are coming true.

Have a happy Thanksgiving! Hope y'all love your family more'n your food.

Welcome to The Endless Ramblings Of A Wanna Be Punchy Cowgirl! Like the title says, I long to be punchy. And ranchy. And rodeo-y. And anything of the sort. I also desire to eat, sleep, and be merry. And eat some more.

My life is consumed with family, eatin', youth groups, ridin' and rodeoin', tryin' to be punchy, and school. Not in that order. I do love my family more'n food, and Ladies and Gents, that's alot right there.

So join in on The Wanna Be Punchy, Ranchy, Rodeo-y Cowgirl, as I ramble about life. And food. And sleep. Not in that order.

Sincerely,

Missy (:
